In order to fully understand employer requirements we work very closely with local industries including Balfour Beatty and BCEGI.

We are fortunate to work alongside Andrea Holt who is the Enterprise Adviser for the Bridge GM programme and has partnered with Xaverian College. She works strategically with the Xaverian Senior Leadership Team and the Careers Team to improve and strengthen the college careers education, guidance, and help us to develop closer links to business. Below is a brief summary from Andrea.

I am a social value professional with over twelve years’ experience working in the construction Industry.

I currently work for Balfour Beatty as a Social Value Adviser and I am a Trustee for the Balfour Beatty Charitable Trust, Shaping Better Futures. My role allows me to regularly engage with schools, colleges and local employment groups to provide them with details of the variety of careers and opportunities the Construction Industry has to offer.

I am passionate about using my experience to support and inspire young people to achieve their full potential and in turn live happy, fulfilling lives.
