At Xaverian you will learn to be independent so that you are fully equpped for university and your future career. You will develop independent learning skills and take greater responsibility for your own progression.

You will also develop the study skills necessary for university, or the self-motiviation required for your working life. Your timetable includes independent study periods when you will be able to take advantage of these various facilities around the college: 
 

• Library with AV equipment, computer access, periodicals and magazines, extensive DVD library and a specialist careers library

• Learning resource centre with over 70 computers and AV equipment manned by specialist staff

• Specialist subject resource rooms. These are located in every building around campus

• College intranet and internet access on every computer in the college. There are almost 600 computers across campus available to students.
