Welcome to Victoria Park Day Nursery

We provide care for children aged between 6 months to 5 years. Our high staff ratios ensure a personal approach, “a home from home,” which can be achieved in a small, intimate nursery such as ours.

The nursery occupies a safe and secure listed building within the grounds of Xaverian College. A beautiful 21st Century refurbishment and extension caters for our needs.

At Victoria Park Day Nursery, our dedicated staff provide high quality childcare. We combine knowledge and understanding of children’s development with sensitivity to the individual needs of families.

Your child will:

  • receive total care and attention in a relaxed atmosphere, so that you can relax too.
  • learn and develop through play and interaction with other children of varying ages.
  • grow in confidence and independence through the care of our team of friendly and committed staff.
  • learn social skills and discipline allowing them to ease into full-time education when the time comes.

We aim to encourage children to discover their independence, who they are and what they can learn to do, alone and with others.

Learning is a happy and rewarding experience. We aim to develop your child’s physical, intellectual, emotional and social skills through carefully planned activities, both focussed and free play. These are linked to the 'Birth to Three' and 'Foundation Stage' curriculum.

Parents and carers want the best for their children and at Victoria Park Day Nursery we will do our best to work in partnership with parents and carers so that each individual child receives the best care possible. We also work together with outside agencies who may offer support for your child and family.

The nursery is currently building a portolio working towards the NDNAS "Quality Counts" Scheme - Investors in Childcare.
