Meals

 At Victoria Park Day Nursery we serve three meals and two snacks everyday:

The weekly menu is displayed in the entrance hall on the parent’s notice board.

• Menus are on a three week rota.

• Breakfast is a choice of cereal, fruit and toast with milk or water.

• At drinks and snack time the children are offered milk or water, a biscuit and a piece of fruit.

• Lunch is a hot savoury dish, followed by a hot or cold dessert, with a drink of water.

• At afternoon tea is varied each day with foods such as sandwiches, croissants, pancakes, pizza as well as, crunchy vegetables biscuits and fruit and a drink of water.

• We ask parents to provide baby milk formula and their own bottles from home. The nursery will supply baby jar foods for weaning babies although we do prefer to blend the fresh food from the daily menu whenever possible.

• If your child has any special dietary needs then a menu arranged in consultation with yourself will be agreed.
