SUPPORT IS EVERYTHING AT XAVERIAN

It’s the golden thread connecting Xaverian values. It’s how we all grow and achieve our ambitions.

Support starts the moment you discovered us. We’re here to make sure you choose the right course and college.

Support spans the whole application process

Once we’ve offered you a place at Xaverian you’ll be invited to a Course Consultation event when we’ll advise you on the right study programmes to drive your career success.

Support in your studies. Support to explore extracurricular experiences. Support getting ready for university. Support with work experience acquiring skills for your career.

We’ve got your back way before you walk through our gates for your first day at college, and from day one of your course, you’ve got a dedicated support squad at your fingertips.

How we can help

Xaverian opened nearly 160 years ago to give its students every chance to excel. The Student services team is here to help optimise your Xaverian experience.
So if you need a hand with anything connected with college life, like:

Information on timetabling

Advice on exams

Medical assistance

Paying for trips or activities

Chances are we’ll be able to help get what you need.

Counselling to overcome life’s challenges

Entering adulthood means taking on new responsibilities. Maybe you’re caring for family members or dealing with difficult relationships.

Xaverian’s safe and confidential student counselling service can help with difficult situations impacting your work or personal life.

Details of how to access the counselling service will be provided during your college induction.

Managing your money and covering your costs

Struggling to pay for things to help you study? Let’s talk.

Both the government and Xaverian have funds available to support students in hardship.

Free meals may also be available. And students enjoy either free or subsidised public transport.

We’ve got a team to advise you on all aspects of financial support.

I still remember seeing a line of As and A*s on my Cedar, I was so happy with myself and thinking back I cannot help but think “I am glad I took the steps to revise for this subject and ask questions when I needed to”.
