Equality and Diversity Policy

This equality and diversity policy applies to everyone in College, and any external stakeholders, work placement providers, contractors or others with whom we engage.

Whistleblowing and Confidentiality Policy

Confidential information and financial information MUST NOT be given verbally in response to telephone enquiries or casual callers to the College. In particular, details of suppliers and contracts, personal details of employees and their contracts of employment and personal details of students are confidential to the College.

Safeguarding Policy

The Safeguarding Policy of Xaverian College is intended to ensure the maintenance and promotion of a learning community that provides a safe and secure environment free of all forms of harassment, abuse and discrimination, providing support and guidance for all community members.

Child Protection Policy

Xaverian, in line with its Mission Statement and legal requirements, has a duty of care to all members of its community with the overarching aim of providing a safe environment in which all can realise their full potential.

Admissions Policy

This Admissions policy applies to students seeking admission to the College’s full-time Advanced, Level 1 and Level 2 courses, which are for 16-18 year old students. The College also offers some degree provision in association with Manchester University. Entry criteria and application for these courses is determined by the partner institutions.

Data Privacy Policy

The College needs to keep certain information about its employees, students, and other users to allow it to monitor performance, achievements, health & safety, safeguarding and human resource issues such as pay, pension information and sickness levels.

Student Anti-Bullying Policy

Xaverian, in line with its Mission Statement and legal requirements, has a duty of care to all members of its community with the overarching aim of providing a safe environment in which all can realise their full potential.

Harassment or bullying of any kind can be an upsetting experience for an individual and it can seriously affect the confidence of any community member when it occurs within the College. The College is committed to taking all reasonable steps to eliminate any form of harassment or bullying, mindful of the Mission of the College and laws protecting people from such behaviour.
