Preparation for Year 12

Thank you for applying to study with us at Xaverian College.

We are excited to welcome you on to campus for our New Students’ Days the 5th – 7th July 2021 (you will be contacted via post and email with more details) but in the meantime, our teachers have prepared some information to help prepare you for the transition to Year 12.

Each subject area has produced a document (below) that gives some guidance as to what you can be doing to prepare yourself to start your studies at Xaverian College.

This may be books, articles or journals to read, podcasts to listen to, films to watch, problems to work through or creative composition for you to undertake. Each curriculum area has determined what will be most appropriate for their subject, and as such each document is unique. There is also some information from our Careers Team and about the Extended Qualification Project (EPQ).

You will still have the option to change your course options, so use this opportunity to explore subjects that you’re interested in studying with us and see if you think you’ll enjoy them.

You can access details of your application on CEDAR (you should’ve received your login details via email, if not contact Admissions). We will also be in touch soon to confirm arrangements for enrolment in August.

We hope to see you on campus in July or at enrolment in August. If you have any questions please contact our Admissions team: admissions@xaverian.ac.uk
