You do not need to wait until Year 11 to see what Xaverian is like. Our Year 10 Taster Days give you a first go at college life, with real lessons in subjects you might want to study. It’s a great way to start thinking about your options early. Year 10 Taster Days are by invitation, offered to students at selected partner schools. If yours isn’t one of them, you’ll get plenty of other chances to visit us.
Throughout the year, we visit schools across the area for assemblies, careers events, parents’ evenings, mock interview days and more. Look out for us and say hello!
Come and see Xaverian for yourself. Meet our students and teachers, explore the subjects on offer and get a proper feel for what makes us different.
Try before you apply. Spend a day with us studying subjects you’re interested in and experience college life first hand. Places are limited, so register early, and priority goes to students who have already been to an Open Day.
Once you’ve decided Xaverian is right for you, complete your online application and submit it by the deadline.
While you wait to hear from us, your school confirms your predicted grades directly with Xaverian. This happens automatically, so there’s nothing you need to do.
Between applying and your interview, we’ll keep in touch with useful updates and information, so you always know what’s coming next.
We’ll call you to go over your course choices, answer your questions and make sure you’re on the right path.
If your interview goes well, we’ll send you a conditional offer. Your place at Xaverian is secured, pending your GCSE results.
After you’ve sat your exams, come and spend time getting to know Xaverian properly. Come to our Welcome Days where you can try your subjects, meet your future classmates and start to feel at home.
Once your results are in, it’s time to make things official. Come along, confirm your place and finalise your subject choices ready for September.
