The general rule 

College Entry Requirements reflect the College’s commitment to ensure that the curriculum is accessible and that applicants are able to pursue a full-time education programme at a level appropriate to their Key Stage 4 qualifications.

For a Level 3 Programme, the College requires a minimum of six GCSE passes, of which at least two must be at Grade 6 or above, and at least four at Grade 5 or above.

This is a minimum requirement for advanced level courses, and individual subjects have their own specific course entry requirements. You’ll find these below.

Grade 4 in English Language, and Grade 5 in Mathematics and Grade 55 from Science

Biology

A Level

Grade 6, 6 and 6 across two sciences and Mathematics. One Grade 6 must be in Biology if you are taking separate sciences. If you’re applying for two A Level sciences, you’ll need Grades 6, 6 and 7 across the two sciences and Mathematics

Business

Grade 5 in English Language and Mathematics

Business (BTEC)
