Before starting college, I wish I had known that college is not just about preparing you for further education. College is a time in which you should study hard and focus on where you want to be in the future, but college is also about getting involved in projects that interest you for fun, not just as a career pathway, and making memories with so many new and wonderful people. It’s important to commit a lot of time and effort to your subjects and study, but it’s just as equally important to take some time away from work and do other things that bring you happiness and relaxation too.
