SAFEGUARDING POLICY

The Safeguarding Policy of Xaverian College is intended to ensure the maintenance and promotion of a learning community that provides a safe and secure environment free from all forms of harassment, abuse and discrimination, providing support and guidance for all community members. Mindful of legal responsibilities and based on Gospel values the Safeguarding Policy of Xaverian College is an essential expression of our Mission.

There are many organisations outside the College who are can offer comprehensive information and support for parents/carers and students. This advice is normally free and can be accessed quickly and confidentially by those who need it.

CHILD PROTECTION

Xaverian College recognises that it has a responsibility towards children attending or visiting the College to safeguard their welfare and to take decisions as to how this can best be achieved.
