Manchester Local Authority are having a visit from Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission to look at how Manchester has supported children and young people with Special Educational Needs and their families during the Covid-19 pandemic. Ofsted and the CQC would really like to hear your views: The aims of the SEND interim visits are:
  • To understand the impact of the pandemic on children and young people with SEND and their families
  • To find out what has worked well for them during this time, what the challenges have been and lessons learned
  • To work within the Local Area to identify opportunities for improvement that address the challenges faced by children and young people with SEND
  • To highlight best practice case studies and share insights nationally
