Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance Performance Masterclass 2021

Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance visit Xaverian College on an annual basis to run performance masterclasses.   

TLCMD visited Xaverian on the 30th of September 2021 and spent 3 hours coaching our fantastic students. The Head of Strings from the college, Professor Nic Pendlebury, led the event.  Ieva Lakute from admissions did a presentation at the start, she talked about the audition process at TLCMD, the amazing opportunities provided by the college, and the life of a musician at a conservatoire.

After each performance, students received fantastic verbal feedback. Professor Nic Pendlebury commented on all the positive aspects of their playing or singing and gave each student targets to improve posture, communication, phrasing, interpretation, technique, and musicianship. Students were also guided on how to prepare for auditions, competitions, and recitals.
